Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking Business Resilience and Continuity Senior Consultant responsible for the development and growth for the firm. This position will play an active role in business development, recruiting, and project management of consulting engagements. Additionally, this position will be a key member of the firm’s leadership team.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and drive accountability
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team in setting and driving organization’s vision and operational strategy
  • Manage profit and loss, budgeting, pricing, billing, and risk management
  • Standardize existing and create new innovative product offerings and delivery methods
  • Manage the Program Management Office to maintain project timelines and acceptable levels of quality
  • Support business development, write proposals and responses to requests for proposals
  • Research information on industry trends to better position Asfalis for success

Minimum Requirements

  • Alignment and adherence to Asfalis Core Values
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 5-8 years of Emergency Management, Business Continuity, or IT disaster recovery experience
  • Experience selling and delivering business continuity related consulting services, to include business impact analyses, risk assessments, plan development and exercising\training awareness solutions
  • Experienced in writing and developing business proposals and responses to requests to proposals
  • Proven track record managing large consulting projects and working with executive leadership teams
  • Proven experience leading a diverse consulting team across various geographies and the ability to build strong healthy relationships and resolve conflicts
  • Effective management, coaching and development of people-providing timely and actionable feedback, performance evaluations and assistance with recruitment and retention

Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics\Marketing\other advanced degree
  • Previous experience with building small to mid-size high growth companies in enterprise risk, emergency management, or related
  • Provide direction on internal and future technologies to support client delivery
  • Knowledge of the following industries transportation, healthcare, REIT, government, and financial services

Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, organize and lead homeland security and emergency management teams to complete internal and customer facing projects, on time, within budget and in accordance with scope.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Initiate projects with clearly defined purpose, scope, and objectives
  • Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop integrated project plans outlining milestones and deliverables
  • Determine the time, cost, risk, and quality metrics for each task
  • Lead the team in working through change management
  • Provide quality assurance for deliverables and products
  • Monitor project progress and budget
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shepherd approvals
  • Archive project files for future reference and use
  • Establish and manage an operational dashboard for control deadlines, budgets, quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • PMP certification
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business or related field
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience leading teams
  • Experience using computers/technology for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
  • Ability to travel to support internal company needs and customer engagements

Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking an entry-level Business Development Associate to support our sales and marketing team. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for expanding our current customer base. They will use prospecting strategies to initiate the first outreach with potential customers. Their goal is to help book meetings and fill the pipeline for the business development team.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal tools to engage with contacts via phone, social media, or email multiple times per week in Asfalis target focus areas
  • Identify needs and challenges of prospective customers through research (interviews, articles, reports, etc.)
  • Attend sales and marketing huddles
  • Schedule meetings with prospects
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns for sales and marketing efforts

Minimum Requirements

  • Current student working towards a degree in business, digital marketing, emergency management or related fields
  • Experience using computers/technology, social media for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Effective communication and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous sales (inbound and/or outbound) or digital marketing experience
  • Experience using HubSpot sales and marketing platform
  • Experience with successful email marketing and telecommunications business development campaigns
  • Graphic\Website design experience
