Job Description

Due to growth, we are seeking a Physical Security Advisor.

In this key contractor position as Physical Security Advisor, you will be working directly with the leadership team and customer to support a project focused on assessing our customers campus using Subject Matter Expertise (SME), industry accepted standards, guidelines, and/or government requirements, where applicable. This position offers the opportunity of working a hybrid schedule with 70% being onsite and 30% working remotely. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for safety and security, a collaborator with great communication skills, be adaptable and results-oriented with an ability to work directly with the customer onsite. 

 Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to analyze security vulnerability assessments and site security plans, to write assessments and other reports, and to assist the client with tasks as a SME.
  • Experience with preparing plans, reports, presentations, other high-level work products.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with senior management, other SMEs, private sector “C-level” representatives (e.g., Chief Executives, Chief Operations Officers, and Chief Security Officers). Also, experience working with U.S. Federal regulatory agency personnel is beneficial.
  • Work closely with Global Security Management and other business function leaders, to execute the continuous assessment of risk avoidance, acceptance, transfer and mitigation strategies for Global Security Operations.
  • Experience prioritizing high value assets globally.
  • Demonstrate experience with infrastructure protection within the Federal, state, or local governments, military, or private sectors.
  • Conduct and/or evaluate threat and vulnerability analyses.
  • Develop and/or implement mitigation recommendations related to security threats, including cost/benefit analysis.
  • Design and/or evaluate physical security plans to protect critical infrastructure.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as risk management, intelligence analysis, security management, terrorism studies, infrastructure protection, homeland security, or other related fields. 
  • Relevant, accredited, board certifications in the security management, physical security, or homeland security domains. The ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications are strongly desired.
  • Candidate must have 10 or more years of experience with physical security in industry or government.
  • Candidate must be able to train on established physical security standards.
  • Other experience with physical security risk mitigation activities that may include transnational or domestic counterterrorism activities, intelligence analysis, and/or compliance-related activities.
  • Experience selecting, integrating implementing and maintaining physical security system hardware (CCTV, ACS, IDS, Barriers, response & mitigation) in a commercial and public sector environment is desired.
  • Collaborator and influencer with team building and communication skills.
  • Adaptable with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Results oriented with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to deliver executive-level reports/dashboards.

In this key contractor position as Project Manager, you will be working directly with the leadership team and customer to support multiple projects focused on internal and client projects. This position offers the opportunity of working a hybrid schedule with 80% remote and 20% may include on site with clients. Our ideal candidate will have a passion to influence at all levels of leadership, a collaborator with great communication skills, be adaptable and results-oriented with an ability to work directly with the customer onsite. 

 Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a clearly defined project plan on who will do what, when and where
  • Proactively identify and call out risks and issues impacting our progress
  • Create weekly status reports and provide to senior leaders
  • Facilitate and lead all meetings to ensure objectives are met within our defined scope
