Purpose of the role

Help organizations assess, implement, and monitor people risks in hiring, interviewing, payroll, benefits, HR policies, and practices.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

 Responsibilities

  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Evaluate and provide solutions on recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of organizational applicants; collaborates with customers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Review, conduct or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Develop or implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Work with customers to co-develop routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Provides expertise and active input on employment-related inquiries from
  • Maintain current knowledge and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices for customers.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • SHRM-CP
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proven ability to work within complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Human Resources Auditor
  • Previous experience working in professional services with senior executives

 Purpose of the role

Direct and coordinate all aspects of the company’s Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Program. The Emergency Management Specialist will assume initial responsibility for projects to design, develop and deliver all deliverables with customers and assume responsibility for personnel training, exercises, and maintenance of the programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of the Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Programs during the development, implementation, testing, and on-going maintenance.
  • Write and/or edit technical documents, including plans, playbooks, business proposals, reports, user manuals, briefings, and presentations.
  • Write and/or edit functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet requirements.
  • Ensuring that final documents meet applicable requirements, compliance, and industry regulations (NIMS, HSEEP, ISO, OSHA, NFP, etc.)
  • Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
  • 5-8 years of emergency preparedness, emergency response, business continuity, and crisis management (or related field) planning experience.
  • Experience designing, developing, and publishing emergency management or business continuity plans for public and private organizations.
  • Proven ability to work within complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of standards and best practices related to Business Continuity and Crisis Management.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Previous experience working with a startup company.
  • Certifications desired), but not required – CBCP, MBCP, PMP, CEM, etc.

Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking Business Resilience and Continuity Senior Consultant responsible for the development and growth for the firm. This position will play an active role in business development, recruiting, and delivery of consulting engagements.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and drive accountability
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team in setting and driving organization’s operational strategy
  • Manage profit and loss, budgeting, pricing, billing, and risk management
  • Standardize existing and create new innovative product offerings and delivery methods
  • Oversee the Program Management Office to maintain project timelines and acceptable levels of quality
  • Support business development, write proposals and responses to requests for proposals

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Emergency Management, Business Continuity, or related experience
  • Experience delivering business continuity related consulting services, to include business impact analyses, risk assessments, plan development and exercisingtraining awareness solutions
  • Experienced in writing and developing business proposals and responses to requests to proposals
  • Proven track record managing large consulting projects and working with executive leadership teams
  • Proven experience leading a diverse consulting team across various geographies and the ability to build strong healthy relationships and resolve conflicts
  • Effective management, coaching and development of people-providing timely and actionable feedback, and assistance with recruitment and retention

Preferred Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Marketing, or other advanced degree
  • Previous experience with building small to mid-size high growth companies in enterprise risk, emergency management, or related

Responsibilities

  • Initiate projects with clearly defined purpose, scope, and objectives
  • Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop integrated project plans outlining milestones and deliverables

  • Lead the team in working through change management
  • Provide quality assurance for deliverables and products

Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking an entry-level Business Development Associate to support our sales and marketing team. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for expanding our current customer base. They will use prospecting strategies to initiate the first outreach with potential customers. Their goal is to help book pre qualified lead meetings and fill the pipeline for the business development team.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal tools to engage with contacts via phone, social media, or email multiple times per week in Asfalis target focus areas
  • Identify needs and challenges of prospective customers through research (interviews, articles, reports, etc.)
  • Attend and report on key performance indicators in sales and marketing huddles
  • Schedule discovery meetings with prospects
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns for sales and marketing efforts

Minimum Requirements

  • Professional Services Sales Experience or a thirst for learning in Crisis Management
  • Experience using computers/technology, social media for a variety of tasks
