Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking a Homeland Security Training and Exercise Coordinator to design, develop, and execute exercises in accordance with the Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program (HSEEP) standards.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of exercise documents in accordance with Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) methodology
  • Instruct course materials for stakeholders and deliver oral presentations to diverse audiences
  • Ensure high-quality of deliverables and compliance with state and federal guidelines (NIMS, HSEEP)
  • Manage training logistics, to include scheduling, inviting participants and access requirements
  • Perform administrative tasks to include updating databases and training materials
  • Provide routine project updates to internal and external entities

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • 2-3 Years of experience designing Homeland Security Exercises and Evaluation Programs
  • 2-3 Years of professional work experience in homeland security, emergency management, crisis management or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel to support internal company needs and customer engagements
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment, conduct research and analysis, and develop high quality written products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work with subject matter experts and team members to ensure written products communicate information in a clear, appropriate, and applicable manner.
  • Analytical ability applied to client-provided content to determine suitability, content improvements, and overall structure

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of standards and best practices related to Business Continuity and Crisis Management (and healthcare administration preferred).
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.

Purpose of the role

Asfalis is seeking an experienced Business Development Associate to support our sales and marketing team. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for expanding our current customer base. They will use prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers. Their goal is to help book meetings and fill the pipeline for the sales team.

Working from established requirements, this role will collaborate with our clients and internal team. The following are the desired outcomes and key results:

 Responsibilities

  • Leverage internal tools to engage with contacts via phone or email 2-3 times per week
  • Identify needs and challenges of prospective customers through research and attending sales and marketing meetings
  • Consistently prospect new leads in target focus areas
  • Book meetings with prospect decision-makers for Asfalis’ senior Business Development team
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns for sales and marketing efforts

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Experience using computers/technology for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project

Asfalis is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, organize and lead homeland security and emergency management teams to complete internal and customer facing projects, on time, within budget and in accordance with scope.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate projects with clearly defined purpose, scope, and objectives
  • Establish relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
