Purpose of the role

  1. Lead Asfalis Advisor’s Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Resilience program services for customers.
  2. Drive the product and services design, development, and delivery of all solutions and deliverables with customers.
  3. Lead, manage, and provide guidance, and direction to the delivery team for high quality work products.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Is confident with building trust, communicating, engaging, and building relationships with executive leadership roles (i.e. directors, vice presidents, and chief executives).

  3. Strong in the full lifecycle of both emergency management and business resilience (integration of crisis management, crisis communications, business continuity, and recovery).
  4. Is heavy on business strategy, a strong visionary, and capable of doing / delivering on Emergency Management and Business Resilience consulting services.
  5. Utilizes innovative approaches and techniques and prefers simple approaches to emergency management and resilience vs outdated concepts.

Responsibilities Include

  1. Responsible for driving all aspects of professional services and delivery (design, timeline and schedule, planning, development, testing, adapting to scope changes, and on-going maintenance with customers).
  2. Ability to approach concepts both strategically and tactically and quickly transitioning between approaches consistently.
  3. Provide subject area expertise, guidance, technical analyses, and proven experience in technical areas (full lifecycle of both emergency management and business resilience – integration of crisis management, crisis communications, business continuity, and recovery) to support organizational and business decisions for customers.
  4. Use a high level of autonomy and problem-solving to navigate fast-paced environments of identifying, assessing, and mitigating impacts.
  5. Experience in managing numerous business disruptions (cyber, ransomware, technology disruptions, extreme weather, etc.) for several enterprise organizations (Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, HR, Facilities, Security, and more).
  6. Create the technical development of documents, including plans, playbooks, reports, user manuals, briefings, presentations, and business proposals with high quality content.
  7. Ensure products meet applicable requirements, compliance, and industry regulations (NIMS, HSEEP, ISO, OSHA, NFP, etc.) for publication ready deliverables.
  8. Lead productive and effective online, in person, and client facing meetings to assist in collaborative results for Asfalis and customers.
  9. Support development of marketing and thought leadership to include case studies, articles, conference speaker, webinars, panels, podcasts, etc.
  10. Support and lead development of sales documents to include capabilities briefings, proposals, discovery meetings, etc.
  11. Managing customer relationships, identifying client needs, and creating plans for client retention.

Minimum Requirements

  1. 5 – 8 years of experience across the full lifecycle of both emergency management and business resilience (integration of crisis management, crisis communications, business continuity, and recovery).
  2. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in homeland security and emergency management, public affairs, public health, or related field.
  3. Direct experience working with senior leadership (i.e. directors, vice presidents, and chief executive) teams and presenting complex technical concepts in easily understandable language to include text and pictures or graphics.
  4. Effective communication skills with proven experience facilitating and training senior leadership teams in government and private sectors and translating technical concepts into business terms.
  5. 3-4+ years of project or program management experience.
  6. Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Certifications desired – CBCP, MBCP, CEM, or other related industry certifications.

  • PMP certification.

Purpose of the role

The primary purpose of the BDR or Sales Development Representative (SDR) role is to:
  1. Drive a results-driven comprehensive lead generation strategy, spanning across the full sales cycle to include acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
  2. Drive organizational high growth sales targets and top line revenue.
  3. Provide a relationship driven consultative selling approach by understanding key business issues and requirements in order to craft a solution that best meets each prospective customer’s needs. Responsibilities Include

  1. Create and manage sales strategy to grow top line revenue for net new business (new accounts and new clients)
  2. Track, analyze and report on the performance of KPIs and provide quantifiable metrics and insights through dashboards and weekly reports.
  3. Provide prospecting on specific target accounts to enable goals to be achieved.
  4. Stay in constant contact with prospects, assist Project Executives with pipeline management, and prospect follow up.
  5. Attend targeted networking events or industry conferences for brand awareness, drive pipeline, and increase top line revenue.
  6. Drive and manage all aspects of prospecting activities to include (inbound and outbound activities, qualifying prospects, understanding prospects pain points, prospect research, providing value, increasing pipeline, and reporting).
  7. Complete Asfalis business development sales and marketing onboarding and utilize Sales Playbook.
  8. Attend weekly sales huddles and report on KPI’s via dashboard using customer relationship tools, such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
  9. Assist in reviewing customer proposal requests.
  10. Iterate and improve quality leads by keeping notes of activities that add value and activities that do not to maximize pipeline and increasing revenue.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions, and develop recommendations.
  2. 3-4+ years of hands-on proven experience in managing lead-generation efforts (testing, measuring, iterating).
  3. 4-year degree, or equivalent work experience in a B2B environment in sales, lead generation, or sales support.
  4. Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Outstanding problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, quantitative skills, and a data-driven mindset.
  6. Hands-on experience in CRM and marketing automation technologies (HubSpot preferred).
  7. 5+ years of experience building trust, communicating, engaging, and building relationships with executive leadership.
  8. Experience selling to specific industries to include business continuity, cyber security, enterprise risk, emergency management, physical security, emergency communications, or risk related software products.

Purpose of the role

The primary purpose of the Executive Assistant role is to:
  1. Directly support the leadership team
  2. Manage the back office and communicate on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer
  3. Assess, implement, and monitor human resources functions

The following are the objectives of this role:

  1. Support the CEO primarily and provide additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations run efficiently.
  2. Maintain and refine internal processes that support leadership and coordinate internal and external resources to expedite workflows.
  3. Manage communication with employees.
  4. Liaise with internal and external leaders, customers, and vendor partners on various projects and tasks.
  5. Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that leadership priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
  6. Support the administrative aspects of recruiting, hiring practices, onboarding, and maintaining HR policies.

Responsibilities Include

  1. Manage professional and personal scheduling for CEO, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics.
  2. Assist the CEO in preparing for meetings, agendas and follow up tasks.
  3. Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior leaders.
  4. Manage senior leadership travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, meals, and expense reports.
  5. Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, faxing, and maintenance of filing system and contacts database.
  6. Organize team communications and plan events, both internal (virtual) and off-site.
  7. Support new and existing business development activities via email and appointment scheduling.
  8. Conduct screening of potential candidates to verify viable candidates for open positions.
  9. Coordinate the recruitment, staffing, onboarding and exit interview processes.
  10. Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
